Getting started

About ten minutes. Leaf Email 1.0 is a release candidate: try it with a small list of your own addresses before emailing real subscribers.

Requirements: WordPress 6.4 or later, PHP 8.1 or later.

1. Activate the plugin. A Leaf Email menu appears in the admin sidebar.
2. Choose how mail is sent (Leaf Email, Delivery). WordPress mail needs no setup but may land in Junk. SMTP through a mailbox on your own domain is the recommended free option. Brevo and SendGrid need a licence.
3. Send a test email from Delivery to an address you own.
4. Create a list (Lists and Tags) and put its signup shortcode on a page.
5. Pick a design (Templates). Set your colours and logo once in the Brand kit panel at the top.
6. Write and test your email in the builder, then Send or schedule it from Campaigns.
