    Leaf Concierge 1.2.0

The assistant now answers questions about the site itself, and learns from the questions it is asked.

    Added

    • Site overview: the assistant writes a short description of your site from your pages, products, announcements and contact pages, and keeps it up to date by itself. It answers questions such as “What is this site about?”, “What products do you have?” and “What is coming soon?”.
    • Words that mean the same are matched: “planning to release” finds “coming soon”, and “delivery” finds “shipping”.
    • Closest pages: when a question cannot be answered, the chat lists the nearest pages before offering to send it to your team.
    • Starter questions fill in by themselves from what your site really contains.
    • Learned answers (licence): the assistant remembers answers to repeated questions and to answers visitors mark helpful, and replies without calling a model. A remembered answer is forgotten when a page it came from changes, or when a visitor marks it not helpful. A new Learned answers tab lists them.
    • Model dropdowns: each model shows its price in US dollars per one million tokens, exactly as OpenRouter lists it, with free models grouped first. A box under the list takes any other model name.

    Changed

    • Every public content type (products, documentation, changelog entries) is now indexed, and the index builds itself in the background with no clicks.
    • A question is no longer declined only because it uses different words from the page.

    Fixed

    • Pages of a custom product type were not searched, so questions about products went unanswered.

    Feature

    Leaf Concierge

    Leaf Concierge 1.1.0

Leaf Concierge now works in a basic form without a licence key, and unlocks fully with one.

    Added

    • Settings, Leaf Licences: one screen to activate your key. The key is checked against the Leaf licence server and checked again every day.
    • A licence unlocks approved answers, content gaps, team requests, provider failover, page awareness, the test panel, CSV export and your own usage limits.

    Changed

    • Without a licence the assistant still answers from your pages with citations, using one AI provider, up to 25 answers a day and 300 a month.
    • A licence that is expired, refunded or revoked returns the plugin to its basic form. Your content and settings are not deleted.

    Security

    • The licence server’s signed answer is verified on every check, and a key only works on the site it was activated for.

    Major

    Leaf Concierge

    Leaf Concierge 1.0.0

First release of Leaf Concierge: a site assistant that answers from your own published pages, names the pages it used, and declines when your site has no answer.

    Added

    • Answers drawn only from your published, public pages. Drafts, private pages and password-protected pages are never indexed.
    • Checked citations: the model must number its sources, and only pages the reply actually cites are shown to the visitor.
    • Decline mode: when no page covers a question, no model is called and the question is recorded under Content gaps.
    • Content gaps report: declined and not-helpful questions, counted and ranked, with a button to write an approved answer.
    • Approved answers: your exact wording for a question, served with no model call.
    • Page awareness: questions such as “summarise this page” use the page the visitor is reading.
    • Team requests: visitors can send a question to you, with a consent tick, by email and in the dashboard.
    • Four providers with failover inside a fixed time limit: OpenAI, Claude, Google Gemini and OpenRouter. You use your own account and key.
    • Limits per visitor per hour, and per day and per 30 days for the whole site.
    • Test panel on the Overview screen showing matched pages, match scores and whether a model was called.
    • Licence activation and licensed updates through the Leaf licence server.

    Security and privacy

    • Provider keys are encrypted in the database, or can be kept out of it with a wp-config.php constant.
    • No IP address, name or account is stored with a question. A one-way hash of the address is kept for about an hour to apply the hourly limit.
    • Records expire after a number of days you set. WordPress personal data export and erase are supported for team requests.
    • Reply text is rendered as text, never as HTML, in the visitor’s browser.

    Known limits

    • Only content stored in WordPress is indexed. Text built dynamically at display time is not.
    • Answers are not streamed; the visitor sees the reply when it is complete.
