Take UPI payments in WooCommerce with a QR made on your own server, a record of every payment, and a confirmation step you control.
What it does
- Adds UPI (scan and pay) at checkout, in both the block checkout and the classic checkout.
- Makes the QR code on your own server. No payment gateway account is needed.
- The buyer pays in any UPI app and enters the 12-digit reference on the order page.
- You get an email for each payment, and a phone or WhatsApp alert through a webhook. You check the credit in your UPI app or bank, then confirm in one click. The order moves on only after that.
- Keeps a record of every payment with an audit trail that nothing edits or deletes: who confirmed it, and when. Export it as a CSV for filing.
- Refunds are manual: mark the order Refunded and the record shows it.
- You choose the payee name buyers see in their UPI app.
What you need
- WooCommerce 8 or later, and a UPI ID to receive payments.
- A licence key, for CSV export, webhook alerts, automatic release of unpaid orders and updates. Payments, the QR, and your confirm and reject buttons work without one.
Known limits
- UPI apps do not tell your site when a payment arrives, so you confirm each payment yourself after checking your account.
- Some merchant QR codes in some apps limit a pre-filled amount. Test one small payment before you open your shop.
